Conducted the initial user research for the US market as part of an agile development team (SCRUM) and contributed to the updated UI Design for UK market as well.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducted qualitative and quantitative research using Atlas Ti, SPSS and MS Excel.
  • Designed and organized semi-structured interviews, online surveys and focus groups
  • Designed and tested low fidelity interactive prototypes, user flows and wireframes.
  • Cross platform/browser responsive UI design and testing (Browser stack).
  • Coding and pattern detection were carried through using thematic analysis and grounding (Grounded Theory).
  • Set up variables and highlighting trends to design personas.
  • Conducted qualitative and quantitative research using Atlas Ti, SPSS and MS Excel.
  • Constant communication with stakeholders for approval of designs, including short presentations and reporting based on user research and data.
  • Designed and tested user scenarios and micro interaction scripts for a working beta version to be tested further through usage statistics and user feedback.

Achievements

The UI was successfully expanded to include multiple content providers; usability and accessibility were improved in order to facilitate a 30% overall content expansion. As a result there was a significant rise in downloads and also in session time duration.
